Pancetta and Onion Gratin


If you have a We’ve used the Ninja 15 in 1 Smartlid you are going to love this Pancetta and Onion Gratin. Oozing with soft buttery potatoes and topped with gruyere cheese is perfect served as a side or as a main with a lovely side salad.


Ingredients


25g butter

150g pancetta

1 onion finely sliced.

1kg potatoes peeled and thinly sliced

1/2 tsp garlic puree

salt and pepper to season

450ml chicken stock

100g gruyere cheese or similar

Fresh time to garnish


Method


Peel and slice potatoes, finely slice the onion.


Using the SAUTE function fry off the pancetta and onion in your butter, remove when golden and place to one side.


Clean out your Ninja pot and then layer the potatoes, pancetta/onion mixture and season as you go.


Make up some stock and add some garlic puree, mix well then pour over the gratin.


Top with the cheese. Select COMBI-STEAM then STEAM ROAST, cook for 20 mins at 360F or 180C until golden.


Allow to cool slightly then serve with fresh tarragon on top.
