Smart Lid Focaccia

Focaccia is one of the best breads to make in the SmartLid as i comes out super soft.

Ingredients


Yeast Mix

150ml Water at 35C/95F

1 tbsp (or 2 x 7g sachets) of quick yeast

1tsp sugar (any)


Dough Mix

220g Bread Flour

1 tsp mixed herbs

6 Tbsp Olive Oil

1tsp Cornish Sea Salt (or any other sea salt)


Toppings

Fresh Rosemary

1 tbsp Olive Oil

Cornish Sea Salt


Method


Make Yeast mix by adding water, yeast and sugar to a small bowl, leave to stand for 5 mins.


Make Dough Mix by combining, flour, herbs, salt and olive oil. Then add yeast mix and combine all ingredients into a soft dough.


Gently knead on a floured board just enough to make sure the all ingredients are combined


Place 80ml water into Ninja Food Max pot and place the wire rack on top.


Put dough into an olive oil coated tin (parchment paper at the bottom also helps stop it sticking).


Place into Foodi and set to prove at 35C/95F for 30 mins.


Open Foodi lid and use fingers to create dips in the top of the dough, drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle with cornish sea salt. decorate with some rosemary (finely chopped and sprigs).


Cook using the Combi-Steam bread function at 160C/320F for 12 mins.


Once cooked remove from Foodi and allow to cool. Slice and enjoy with balsamic vinegar glaze dip.
