Simple Air Fryer Salmon
Salmon is one of the easiest things to cook in the air fryer as long as you know what to do. In this video I’ll talk you through how I cook my salmon and share my secret tips for perfect golden outside and beautiful flakes of fish.
We used the Ninja Dual Air Fryer but you can use any air fryer, here are some of our favourites.
Ingredients/Equipment
Salmon Fillets
Salt and pepper
seasoning or glaze of choice
Pastry brush
Meat thermometer
Method
Season your fillets with salt and pepper.
Choose which glaze to use, this makes the outside nice and golden/crispy and the inside lovely and mist. I used sweet chilli sauce on one fillet and soy/honey glaze on the other.
Glaze the fish using a pastry brush, making sure to reach round the sides too.
Place the fish skin side down in the air fryer (on foil or spray the basket with oil to stop it sticking).
Air fry at 200C for 8-10 minutes, reglazing half way through.
Use your meat thermometer to check the internal temperature on the thickest part of the fillet is at least 65C.
Let the salmon rest for a few minutes then serve.
