For this video I thought I’d do a Hello Fresh recipe but using my air fryer. This lovely kofta gyro was the perfect choice. If you want to make your own the full ingredients are below.

We used the Ninja Dual Air fryer but you can use any air fryer, here are our favourites.

Ingredients serves 2

For the chips:

500g White potatoes

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

For the Koftas:

400g pork mince

2 tbsp breadcrumbs

2 tbsp water

1tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper

1/2 clove garlic grated

To serve:

Salad made from

Chopped tomatoes

Chopped cucumber

Dressing made from 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp sugar, lemon zest, 1/4 lemon juice salt and pepper

Sauce made from

2 tbsp Greek yogurt

1/2 Lemon zested

Fresh mint

Salt and pepper

Other:

Flatbreads

Crumbled feta

Method

Slice the potatoes into chips, pour over a little police oil and season with salt and pepper. Air fry at 200C for 20 mins

Make your koftas by combining the breadcrumbs, water, Renato, garlic, pork mince, salt and pepper. Form into about 6 flattened balls. Cook at 200C for 12-15 mins or until the internal temp is over 75C.

Make your salads by combining the dressing ingredients and mixing in the cucumber and tomato.

Make the mint yogurt by combining the yogurt, mint, lemon zest, salt and pepper

To serve:

Warm the flatbreads, build up your gyro with the chips, koftas, cucumber and tomato salad and mint yogurt. Finally crumble over some feta.
